Paul Robeson moved his family to London in 1928 and during the next twelve years, he starred in six British films, pioneering uncharted territory for black actors and reaching a level of prominence unthinkable in Hollywood. Jericho turned points de vente out to be his most satisfying film role, having taken more artistic control He stars as a World War I officer who escapes his fate as a black man by fleeing to Africa and creating a new world for himself.

The portrait is in very good condition with a 1/2 tear at the bottom edge, a nick in the top edge and minor surface marks.
