Robert Lepeltier studierte 5 Jahre an der berühmten École nationale supérieure des beaux-art, Paris bei ( Vuillard ) und an der Akademie von Paul Albert Laurens

Dort bekam er eine fundierte Ausbildung in Malerei, Akt-Zeichnen, Farbkomposition.

Danach arbeiteter eine Zeit in den Dekorationswerkstatt seines Vaters, Leon Peltier.

Nach dem I Weltkrieg ( Gefangenschaft ) widmete er sich, mehr als ein halbes Jahrhundert,

mit voller Leidenschaft, Konzentration und Können kompromisslos der Malerei.

Er gehört zu den großen Namen des " Spät-Impressionismus " Frankreichs - in der Tradition von Manet, Cézanne,Vlaminck, Renoir.

Ich stieß auf den Künstler über meine Liebe zu David Schneuer, der sich nach seinen Parisreisen genau dieser erotischen, französischen

spielerischen Bildsprache bediente.
